Well I got a v2 flashscan for a good deal and ive been playing with tuning my truck and I.have bought a vin licence and got it entered in and now im kinda stumped on what to do or how to do it. I would like to know some tuning basics like which parameters to watch or which to change. I do understand what I am doing when change a parameters just overloaded with everything to work with thanks Yall!. P.s. dont tell me to pay someone else to do it if I wanted someone else to do it I would have gotten them to.

 

Remove TM.
Adjust shift points
Clean up VE tables until you have close to zero fuel trims.
Calibrate MAF
Optimize spark tables.

 

I use HP tuners, but EFI might have these.

Change the ramp in rate for PE, to like 1.0-1.5 instead of really low stock number. PE delay can be set to 0 or whatever lower rpm you want, stock is 5000 which is stupid high.
