we got the turbo on the ole 4.3l. i think i got the injectors almost dialed in. i just have to dial in the ve table. one problem i have is since the bank 2 sensor get air from the bank 1 (turbo crossover) it skews the numbers. i can't figure out how to keep it from doing this.
also it is cutting out when you hit boost. the right bank wires were a little burned from the down pipe. he said there was no wire showing. he wrapped them up and pulled them out of the way. so are the wires just toast now? what wires should he get? when we first installed the turbo it didn't do this. he is running the Bosch platinum diamond fire things. i told him to just get ngk's but are these ok?

why don't u remove the LTFTs and tune the VE and MAF then run off the MAF directly? That's what I do when I don't find a bung for my WBo2s... If all the IFR settings are in correct, your Fuel Trims should be in line, no matter the weather, thats if the MAF is dialed in correctly

ok, i see i didn't put that part in there. we are runing 3 bar sd from hptuners. no maf here. he ordered new wires with 90 elbows and heat shields. i turned off the ltft and stft tuning straight off the wide band. and that works. but i was trying to get the injector settings inline with out changing the ve. but no matter what i set the ifr at it wouldn't change. from 67 to 120lbhr it was always 12.5 until fuel trims kicked in. but fuel trims were way off from one side to the other. so i turned them off and just went off the wideband error %. and it worked out alot better. but after i get it within +/-2% iwould like to turn the trims back on for altitude changes and what not. but if it will be fine after a good tune then i'll leave them off. he has NO WAY of tuning himself once he transfers so that is why i ask about trims.
