Default Need some HPTuners help

For you pros out there,

I have a new PCM on order. Once I get it installed in the truck, what is the process that I need to write my calibration on the new PCM?

Thanks in advance,

i havent messed with putting a new ecm in, but my guess would be, install in truck>turn key to on position>write full using hpt as you will need your vehicle and VIN info written into the new ecm. I MAY be wrong as I have never done it, but this is that path that I would choose

It's going to arrive with a fresh GM program on it.

If it is on your vin, you'll be able to write to it, if not you'll be using 2 more credits to license it as well.

Even if it has his VIN in it it will require a new license.

This, they go by serial number of the ECM and not the VIN.
