hey i need to mail my tune to my tuner since his far away, i only want to set the line pressure for the transmission to stock cuz im swapping a built one in... im new to this, how do i get my tune into the pc or is it a software i copy or what do i need to do?

You will need tuning software such as EFILive or HPTuners to down-load the tune from your PCM into a laptop (easier to move around than a PC) and to up-load the new tune back into your PCM. This is very expensive if you are not going to get into tuning yourself.

It might be easier to get your tuner to send you a tuned PCM to put in your truck and send him your PCM. If you want to keep your stock PCM most tuners will sell you a used PCM to load the tune into and send that to you. There is no down time this way.

 

ok i checked and i dont wana spend on the hp tuner software and hardware, so what do i need to send so the tuner can change what i need to change.... only this?(picture)

 

you either send your tuner the PCM/VCM or you buy/rent the tuning software HE/SHE uses.

 

i`ll send the pcm... i just need too know where exactly it is, ive never messed with it b4
