Got the 4L80E in my truck and we used a OS from a 2003 2500 with a 4L80e and plugged a my engine info in. Problem is now my gas gauge works backwards and the gauge assembly displays low coolent level when i dont have a sensor in the truck, just have goofy things going on.

i also want to make sure that the tune is correct for the 4L80E cause second day out it blew up, it was a ebay deal so it was expected but it felt great up to that point.

Can anyone help getting the correct OS and tune in there?

 

Best thing to do is take your original os and have someone swap in the 80e segment to it. Should be some tuners in the area with ability to do that.

 

I was talking to my tuner yestureday about it, a guess he emailed the tune to HP Tuners and they said something about they did not have a system that will work. So we are still reserching hense this thread.

 

Just email HPT support they will get your segement swap done.

 

does anyone have a file with an operating system of 12592618 with a 4l80E, i need one so they can do the segment swap.

 

I'll check my files when I get home. As a second option can you send me the original .bin file of your tune. I may be able to get a guy here local to segment in the 80e.

 

I've found a 1256918 OS with an 80e segment in it. From an 05 GMC Yukon. I'll send it when you send me yours per the PM's. I'll do a compare here also to see what I can.
