Need a 5speed DBC tune
#1
I had a V6 5-speed 2001 sierra that I put a 6.0 in it. I bought a V8 ecu off a 2002 tahoe that was a auto. so now it wont start (I am guessing clutch paddle position??)
If I just jump the starter relay, the truck will run no problems. but it wont do it through the key switch.
I was told I need a file from a 2000-2001 5speed truck with Drive-by-cable.
anyone can get me a file? stock or even if it was modified I don't care as long as its from a truck that started as a 5speed truck and DBC.
it has to be a HP tuner file.
my email is walhan_qtr@msn.com
I would really appreciate it.

What are you using for a harness? If using a automatic harness, you don't need a 5 speed tune, you just need to wire in the neutral safety wires into the proper range sensor wires.

If I remember correctly, you have to jump the Pin A to Pin G ( or pin B) to tell the ECM the tranny is in neutral (or Park) since the NV3500 doesn't have a neutral safety switch on it. After this, you truck will work the same way as previous and will require the clutch pedal pushed in to start. I think the clutch switch is in series with the park neutral safety switch
