Default Mystery wire pigtail

I have a 1999 Silverado 4x4 Manual transfer case. I recently reworked my engine and transmission harness and was left with one plug. I know it is a black and brown wire, goes to the c153 connector under the fuse block, and is in circuit #241. Has something to do with the 4x4. The brown wire is labeled “ front axle actuator switch”.Problem is I can’t seem to figure out where it plugs in at. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Assuming the label is correct, there is an engagement switch for the front differential on the housing itself. The plug should be on the actuator, which is located along the side of the axle tube on the front differential.

thats the label on the wiring diagrams I have found. The plug on the axle actuator is already plugged in. It’s a 4 or 5 pin plug. I was wondering if it was even used on the manual transfer case trucks.

Just the 2 wires, black and brown?

I'll look under my 02 for you and see if I can see it, what it's plugged into. Is it nearest the t case, trans or diff?

yea it is a 2 prong plug. Black with white stripe and brown wire only. That I don’t know. I unloomed the entire harness, so I have no clue where it goes. I just know the wire colors and what the schematics say it is

Why not post a picture of said plug? It would make it easier to identify.

Perhaps it was miss labeled?

see if that works. The three prong plug is c153,where the wires are coming from. The plug in my hand is the plug this I can’t seem to find where it goes. I’ve also attached the labels that I have found from lt1swap

The one in your hand is a 2 pin and could be an oil level sensor in the pan or the crank sensor plug. I believe the crank sensor is different color wires in it though.

DO you have oil level sensor in the pan plugged in or located?

Yes the oil level sensor is plugged in. The brown wire on the 2 prong plug is spliced into the brown wire on the c153 plug. The black wire is either d1 or e1 on the big C2 connector under the fuse block.
