Default Raising Reenable speed........

Hey guys- pertaining to Traction Control and Stabilitrak, after disabling them with the magic button it's great; until the 35mph mark. So the big question is, can the point at which it reenables be raised? Horsing around in the snow ya get to and over 35mph pretty quick...………. TIA

Not that I know of, for sure HP Tuners can't alter the ABS/Stabilitrak stuff.

Hmm, starting to think it's a BCM thing- something I can live with. Thanks FF, tweaking the transmission otherwise great, doesn't feel so numb anymore; upshifting the way I like, now a little more work on the downshifts...………...

Wire a toggle switch to the ABS relay under the hood.

Couple threads on gm-trucks.com about putting in a toggle switch. I also read that you can pull the ABS fuse (#3).
You probably know this, but traction control can be turned off by holding the traction control button down for a few seconds. It will stay off until you turn off the truck.

With the detroit locker in the back of my 17 i can rip donuts in the snow all I want with the one touch of the button. When it had the gov junk it constantly was fighting with the rear brakes but now that under throttle the rear is for all intents spooled it only messes with the fronts and more or less accomplishes nothing in the process. It also made the stabilitrack basically useless while under throttle and messing around on the road..... sure the stupid little squiggly on the dash flashes but the truck doesn't slow down whereas with the gov lock and the same tune it would hit the rear brakes all the time independently and try and keep the truck straight. I was going to put in a toggle but I do like having ABS brakes and it works pretty seamlessly... I thought for sure I would lock the rear end up on ice like I can with the 05 but the 17 is fast enough that the rear doesn't lock under hard braking. I wasn't sure how the locker would play with the stability control on the truck but it actually works really well for someone like me who doesn't want stability control ever lol.
