The mystery of the check engine!!
#1
Check engine is being a pain in the A$$ for me lately, it keeps blinking and the hp tuners cant read a code and there is a cut in it and something is holding the car i cant get all the power out i lost maybe 40% of the power and no one knows the problem.

There's a cut in what, the cable for the HPTuners? As mentioned, you have a misfire somewhere...get your HPTuners working and check the misfire % of each cylinder if you're just seeing a random misfire, unless of course you have a code for a specific cylinderr misfire.

With your HP Tuner can you retrieve Freeze frame data (History)? If you can look at the data and you should be able too determine what is causing your Check Engine Light to flicker.

Once it stops flashing does the SES stay lit? I agree with every one that a flashing SES means misfire, but if it doesn't set the light once it is done misfiring...then that's a new one on me. Maybe that's what 454supersport is getting at. The misfire parameters are so far out that it won't set the code. But that doesn't make sense to me in the long run. If the pcm sees a situation it usually stores it, all depending on how your tune DTC's are setup obviously. Do you have access to your tune? Post it up if so.

Il get the tune from my tuner in the coming few days , the car is at the shop right now and they will see whats wrong with it cuz it misfires badly and the flashing SES stops till it misfires again and thats after few seconds
