I have hptuner and just need to know what i need to adjust to fix this problem, i am a laimin when it comes to tuning so please be as specific as possible, really can't afford $250 for a pro to tunee it right now, sig check for mods.

I had the same issue about 5 months ago. I was running a tune by a local houston tuner which I wasn't able to get a hold of , so i went out and bought HPTunner..The overspeed and underspeed was set to aggressively....try duplicating what I have now ...see pic below.....no guarantee that this will correct your problem but it did in my case. Also check HPT fourms for help.

You would have never guessed what it was.
I clean the ETC throttle body and it did the trick. Has not surge since.
Its funny how that minute carbon between the blade and the bore could cause such a big problem.
Learned a lesson today.
