Default MAF Maxed out?

This is a 2005 5.3L with a Radix Supercharger & a 3.0 pulley.

At 6300rpm I maxed out the MAF @ 454.39 g/sec, I noticed that the MAF Airflow vs. output frequency table only goes to 453.69 @ 12000hz.

What exactly happens when the MAF is maxed?
what does the computer do?
Can I adjust the g/sec @ 12000hz to 455.00?
And if i do what will that accomplish?

BTW it appears that the Throttle gets pulled back when the MAF gets Maxed.

I believe the computer will jump into speed density. I know that a couple of people have jumped to speed density when the Mass Air can no longer support it.

Just disable the maf and tune it. Maf is a pita to tune. And the truck runs much better without it.

I would like to try this. How exactly do you disable the MAF? I have LS1 Edit.

Its not quite that simple. With FI, I would get a 2 bar MAP and find someone that can do a speed density tune on it. Expect to pay more, but it is the way to go if you have the $.
On trucks with the IAT built into the MAF, you will have to get an IAT from an f-body or something similar and wire it up if you want to take the MAF out.

So just unplugging it is all you have to do and it makes all that power. I know it sounds mean that way cause I've forgot to plug it in several times. Now when I'm sitting in a parking lot full of racers I'll unplug it and scare everyone away. Never thought to race with it that way. Thanks for the info dude.

Ive heard that this is a quick way to smoke an engine if you dont have the aforementioned 2 or 3 Bar MAP sensor. Are you running SD? Did you tune it? Id love to get rid of the MAF.
