lpe gt1 cam installed now won't idle

OK. I see the HPT in your sig now. It's gonna need more air to idle. Go to your idle tables and start increasing idle air flow.

got it it idles good now but every once in a while if i hammer it and let off it dies and when comeing to a stop it seems like right before you stop it acts like it wont to jump foward and i have to hit the brake harder.

You dont want to increase the base idle air too much or it will cause hanging idle and cruise control. It should be just enough for it to idle right then tune throttle follower, air decay tables etc...

also make sure the throttle set screw is reading around .67V at 0 tps

Chris, his 2004 truck should be drive by wire and will not have a set screw. The voltage can be checked on the TPS but I'm not sure where it is suppose to "park" at.

yeah i've got cruise i was cruiseing at like 45-50 i had to hit the brake to slow down. and is what causes the jumping foward when trying to stop?

Adjust timing and the VE table. You prolly need to lower the VE table in the idle columns. Start off with your timing at 20 or 22 degrees and go from there.
