at least take timing down to 23 or so in idle regions, youll get your smoothest operation there.

Watch your STrims at idle. Make sure it's warm though. They will prolly go lean at first, then start richening up. The cam is going to progressively load up, so you ignore where it's loading up, but at first when it starts to correct, make your adjustments off of that.

all the stuff plays a factor in getting it to settle into idle nicely and drive right it can be a pain to get it to idle like stock and get the tables to play nice.

67ss your right on the fly by wire

well it seems to idle about right its much calmer then when in snake eaters truck but my exhaust is queiter too. now it just lopes forward when you barely hit the brakes and your trying to stop it wont to lope forward then i appy more brake and it stops and when coming to a stop the down shifts are harsher than they use to be . any ideas why? and does anybody got an idea of what kind of full throttle timming i should be looking at for this? thanks for all the help to evryone. oh and flyer i figured out that there is a timing table for just idle i geuss thats what you meant by setting it at 22* or so so i did that and was able to set the idle down to 700 rpm so far i may be able to get it to 600 but i don't know if i wanna try for that or if 700 is good

you can adjust the up and down shift pressure there is a table for each shift, about the surging reduce the overspeed idle timing table if it dips to much up the under speed table
