TCC solenoid is powered inside the trans pan all the pcm does is supply a ground to the solenoid.
So toggle switch one side to ground and other side to tcc solenoid and TCC pwm solenoid = full control over TCC lock up

i couldnt afford an $800 controller for the 4l80e on my carbed motor so i had to settle for a Jakes manual control box and wire it in......

Couldn't convince it to stay locked without upshifting unexpectedly during the pull. Think tire-spinning 2-3 shift (in lockup at WOT) on top of a Dynojet single-roller dyno, held back only by 4 safety straps.
As far as the power, yes, it made a lot more (~100hp) locked up instead of unlocked. I say 400rwhp...but the real number is probably a little higher than that and a little lower than where the graph put it. It's just a heavy truck though, it's not like it has ever outrun a Ferrari at sub-120 speeds(if this happened, it was in Mexico on some forgotten dusty road near the border).
