Dood thats an awesome deal - I went in looking for something like that and was told that they wouldnt run HP tuners. I ended up with a dell starlord 15" that was on sale and open item. Works great with i5 and SSD

Many of these cheap smaller laptops are now running the Chrome OS, which indeed cannot run HP tuners, without being hacked into and the OS changed.

This specific laptop comes with Windows 10 OS, which indeed does run HP tuners.

Honestly I think you'd be hard pressed to find any other laptop in this price range running windows.

This laptop also has an SSD which is awesome, granted its only 32gb

I recently picked up an Asus VivoBook with very similar specs as the Stream (11.6", 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD, 1.44GHz Atom) for similar reasons. I wanted something a little more portable for logging and traveling than my 17" laptop. I was concerned about the 2GB RAM getting bogged down during long logging sessions but I have not had any issues with it running HPT. I do save all tunes and scans to a 64GB SD card to save space on the SSD and easily transfer to the larger laptop for analysis. I like the battery life on the netbook and I can leave it up all day at track which I couldn't do with my other laptop.
