I run a Lenovo Z70:

i7, 16gb RAM, 1TB ssd, 17in screen.

and yes, I play WoW on it from time to time. Power wise, it's right on par with my home desktop except the home desktop is an i5.

 

Not at all, get a laptop w/ 2 gb ram and just make sure it has the capacity to hold and use 4 gb of ram.

Ram is incredibly easy to install.

 

I use a older Toshiba note book, 4gb, small and easy to use,
long batt life for driving around and track time. 12v charger

Walked into walmart today, saw these puppies on sale for 150$

figured I couldnt go wrong so I ask the guy to grab me one, he says they only have purple available... blue was the other option.

I said "cmon man the boys on PT are gonna gimme **** if I got a purple laptop, can you atleast give me a discount?"

He walks in back to grab a purple one, talks to his manager, rings me up...

99$... what a steal.

2gb of ram... so we will see how that does... but for the price I couldn't go wrong.

Well HP tuners is installed on it, and runs smoothly, haven't hooked it to truck yet tho..

Also nuked the windows side on my Mac, gained 26gb back. So I'm pretty pumped about that.

 

If all you're going to use it for is HPT, then it'll work for you.

The memory or hard drive cannot be upgraded in Stream laptops. It's all integrated hardware.
