Learning HP tuners!
#1
I have had my hp tuners since my turbo charged crew cab and now I have a low budget 4.3 sierra 01 I have removed cats deleted the codes disabled the COT system K&N cold air intake and modified the shift tables disabled the torque management on the gutless pig what a difference it made copied the normal shift patterns to the cruze patterns and also raised the shift RPM's on performance pattern to 5200, no speed cut off and changed tire sizes, oh and when you do that you always subtract one inch from the actual tire diameter figured that one out, what else could I do without airfuel ratio gauge?

I have everything for V8 engine swap minus engine, I bought a house and discovered there was more important things to spend money on but when I get to stopping point on the house I will pull the trigger, until then I will play around with tuning!

You still have your O2 sensors right?
You can data log and tweak. Bump your timing table up by 10% go for a drive, repeat. Check your knock Retard, you want it to be right at the point before you start pulling timing.
When you go for a drive, you need to drive a full range of pedal positions...you need about 30 min or so to populate the tables properly. Some Half throttle slow speed cruse highway, and some WOT runs.
After you have that set up, you can play with your LTFT's and your PE.
Also bump your trans pressure tables up by 50-80% Lots of pressure isn't going to hurt you.
Likely you'll need a full day and a full tank of fuel to do it properly. You can dial it in for optimal fuel economy and power. Or you can run 93 octane and get max power from it.

... I bought a house and discovered there was more important things to spend money on ...
You had to buy a house to realize that you should be spending your money on your truck?

And to tell somebody to remove all of their TM is telling them to play Russian roulette with their transmission, just in case somebody does not know that.

Having said that, you need to bump your pressure tables up too. Most guys with the 60E that I know multiply the table by 1.80 Bumping your pressures up by 80%...thats about the max of the pump.
And yeah...it pulls timing, sorry...but it does show up as KR when your logging it.

I've never logged TM, but that doesn't make sense to me. Unless you named the pid that you are using "KR".
If you are watching the chart display, will it show TM in the KR table when your TM kicks in, and later show KR when the engine knocks? I am confused.
