I'm getting spots of knock retard on my logs, and I can't imagine what is causing it. It comes in right after I go WOT, but before the turbo has a chance to make any boost. Surely someone more experienced with tuning than me has seen this before? The HPT forum is a better place to ask but I figured I'd ask here first..

have you tried making tip in enrichment happen maybe a bit faster? also have you tried pulling a degree of timing or two to see if maybe your getting knock ? have you done this a couple times to rule out false knock ? why is your wot only 83 % tps?

Agreed, are your PE delays all removed ad the rpm bypass low enough? Also are you getting the timing your commanding and no outside tables are adding additional timing, iat/egr/fuel correction tables?

Yeah I've seen it on a couple logs. The first time in that log, it wasn't even in PE yet.
How likely is it to knock out of boost with that low of cylinder airmass? The 91 around here isn't fantastic but I definitely wouldn't expect real knock at like 84kpa lol. Have not tried pulling timing...I will pull a degree or two in that area and see how it does. I do need to add cylinder airmass to that config, I don't know why its not there...
It says 83% because that's not the 'real' TPS pid...theres another that logs 0-100. But its fully open
What is a good setting for the PE delay? The AFR spark correction table is the only thing that would add timing, but it's zeroed out. IAT wasn't low enough to add timing.

That was weird on 4603 that it went lean on the wide band at 15:1 and was commanded 12.68. At 183 I would suspect burst KR, you can log for that. It is weird that it went lean at 190.
Let's see your tune.

I can't explain those lean spots. I'm sure it has to do with some finer details of my tune that I'm not skilled with yet. I'll log burst knock too, see if anything comes up. I logged it a few weeks ago when I was getting high RPM/boost knock, but it was real knock that the meth fixed.
Thanks Mike, good to have your tunnnning experience on board.
Trying to upload the tune, keeps saying it failed..

Since I can't upload the file, I got off my lazy *** to set up my FTP server again, only to find out that my ISP blocks the port I need to use for it now. *** won't even let you run a basic FTP anymore
Only a matter of time before they start throttling bandwidth too, I suppose.
Do you want me to email the tune to you?

Your operating system is way more complicated than my 2002 OS. I really don't know what I am looking at, it is that different. I can't upload it either, but I can upload one of my tunes. I don't get it.
I got it in my email just fine, if anybody else wants to volunteer to look at it.

That's more KR basically out of boost from a different log I was looking through. Quite a bit of it here though. Not sure what absolute pressure here is, I believe its around 13.6psi. But this KR occurs just after going WOT, immediately before it begins to build boost. PE hasn't even come in yet, its set at 94kpa. Can the fuel here really be that horrible? My IATs aren't as low as I'd like cause I don't have the intercooler plumbed yet, but I wouldn't think with 91 octane it would already start knocking.
