Default Knock and O2 sensors?

I see plenty of guys not running knock sensors and/or 02s and I was wondering if I should run them? I have a large cam, running 110 fuel, and have a wideband.

I am guessing with large cams you get false knock? That is just an assumption and trying to determine if I need them or not.

P.S. Do I need to install the knock sensor if I am not hooking them up? Meaning will the hole they mount in leak if I don't install them?

I would keep the knock sensors. They do a critical job in protecting your motor. You also definitely need the front O2 sensors. The rear O2 sensors are a different story, they can be eliminated, no problem.

02's can be removed if you running SD. knock sensors. i wouldn't. i leave them turned on in the tune and plugged in on the motor side. regardless of power. 200-1000+

You still want to run CL on a SD tune.

keep your knock sensors just desentisize them a lil so they wont give off false knock, keep your 02s for safety reasons

If your worried about getting alot of false knock you can desensitize them to a degree to try and help determine what is real and what isnt

Ok. I will install them.

Why is it that people don't run the knock sensors sometimes?
