I just received my hp tuners pro, and pulled the stock tune from the truck. '01 2500hd, 6.0 4l80e. I want to do some quick safe stuff before I install my wideband.

most the tuning ive ever done is on carbs so im new to hp tuner, but my plans are to tinker with the stock map, then install my tbss intake and 60 lb injectors and tune that, and eventually I want to bolt on a turbo after I get parts collected

 

The best thing would be just to datalog and get yourself familiar with HPT and data logging. Then make some small changes and see how they affect your truck. Tuning isnt hard but learning to use tuning software has a steep learning curve.
