Default Just Bought EFILive

Finally bought EFILive today. I bought the commercial version so i can do complete reflashes and custom OS's. Hopefully it will be here in a few days or so. I will be getting the Wideband late next week. Is there anything productive i can do as far as logging and such without the wideband? I am really green in the tuning department and I am hoping a few of you guys can get me started slow and easy with this and point me in the right direction to get on my way. Justin, KB, Dew, and a few others have helped me out a bunch already....hopefully you guys can keep helping me out... . Cant wait to get my feet wet.

Congrats dude. Go ahead and do a bunch of logging and get really familiar with the software, setup some maps so you can see what your final timing is and if your getting any KR and where. Just play with it and try logging lots of different things. Feel free to drop me a line if you need help with any of it.

Thanks man, I will have to feel my way around for a bit cause i dont even know how to do any logging or set up maps yet. Any info you can give would help out a bunch. Can i do these things without the wideband or do i need to wait till i get that in? I am pretty computer savvy so i hope to catch on to this stuff quickly, thanks in advanvce.

You don't "need" the WB to do logging, the most important thing for you to do now is just familerize yourself with the software. Read the manual and play with it, you'll get the hang of it before you know it

Cool, thanks. I want to start on the LTFT's and STFT's too. I was told that i need to log them over the course of a few days to get accurate numbers, but again, i am kind of in the dark on how to go about doing so. I figure i will wait till I get the software and cable in hand then start the barage of questions...

Must have bought it from Jesse . I have found that Chad (Black02SS) is a lot easy to get info from, plus he is really easy to get ahold of on MSN messanger, FWIW.

yes it was, is Black02SS cheaper? Anyway, doubt he would be motivated to help me out any if i didnt purchase from him anyhow. I will just have to get what info i can from here and the EFILive forum i guess. Never had any other experience with Jesse, so i guess i will see how it goes. He is sending me a supercharger tune for free, so i guess i can use that to compare with what i have now, and with what others have helped me with so far.
