Default Installed TR6's now a missfire.

This morning I installed these plugs. I gaped them a .035.

In the lower RPMs it accelerates smoothly.

But when going WOT right at 4k RPMs it starts to missfire. Feels like the truck boggs/chokes.

No loose wires.

Mods in sig...the tune is on the fat side.

Can yall send some advice my way.

Thanks,

-Justin

Check the wires again, and then again. Ive had problems in the past with some buddies helping me, and closing one of the gaps of a new spark plug they put in for me( they musta dropped it). But even during that it missed at idle, and was fine during WOT, had full power. How fat is the fat side?

I stayed with stock plugs.. I see no reason to go with a colder plug for a low boost set up, or a set up that your not going all out for( timing on the edge) Just my op.. Put the stock plugs back in and see if your miss fire goes away. It is poss a wire is not on all the way..

I might put the stock plugs back in tomorrow, if I take all of the plugs out and see nothing wrong with them thats what ill do. It'll probably see 10psi when its all said and done. Timing is low as well (Wanted to set up a conservative tune for now) 11* of timing

While you have it all apart, pay attention to how well each plug wire "locks" onto the spark plug.
