Why are you hell bent on getting an adapter? Why not just take the multecs off and put on the ev1's? The splicer is nice and easy if it is already made but if you are going to put the work into making a splicer then why not not just put the work in replacing the multecs?

I was after these when I did my injector swap. I finally just put the ev1 clips on and it wasn't that bad at all. If you really want to make them PM Whippled 496. He used to make them and would know where to get the multecs at.

because stupid little **** like this bugs the hell outta me, idk if u could call it OCD or what, but, idk, its hard to explain..certain little things drive me up a wall

I Wont even splice into the back my radio to add a hi-lo converter because i know that when i do go to a radio, and remove the high-lo, there will be a re-connected splice

same with the injectors i guess, if i were to ever go back to truck style,it would bug me that they had been spliced...

maybe?

w w w://fuelinjectorconnection dot com

they have pics of an adapter, that goes on the injector and the stock plug goes into that?

I guess the newest rage in injectors is the 42lbs ones used in the LS7/LS3. $45/ea @ cost???

The LS3 injectors are a great choice, for one FIC has those adapter pieces and two just pull up a tune file from a vette and their is all of the correct injector data. One of the biggest if not the biggest tuning mistake is starting out any tune with incomplete injector data, I know I know I mention it alot on here but it is very important to have the injectors characterized properly in the tune.

I just started tuning and I start reading about these values...I am now considering using a different injector with more data than one that clips in easier. but thats more $$ to drop.

I hate do say it but I bought these adapters when I installed my TVS.
The wires were not crimped in very well at all. Ended up pulling all the pins out of the connectors, recrimping and soldering them. It was a PITA

The biggest reason to not use the adapter, just another failing point. HOWEVER, LOL, I am selling my radix soon and it will have 60#'ers on it and I will sell it with an adapter I made. But I can promise it will be crimped right and soldered.LOL Promise.
