Default Idling down slowly?

Anyone have any issues with their 5.3 idling down slow when you rev to around 3k? It makes me look like an idiot when I roll past some Stangs and I rev and it doesnt zoom zoom zoom, it just zoooooooooooooooms. Is it my tune or is this common with the 5.3s PCM4LESS mail order tune

Is the tb ported? It seems to be pretty normal with dbw tb's. You don;t have the blade slapping closed like on a cable driven setup.

hey man I cut the cats out of a 08 a couple months back and had a bad idle hang are your cats gone? If so or even if not you can scale down the idle airflow min. table under your idle tab with hp tuners 10% at the time this will fix it. It seems backwards to scale it down but it works find some body with hp tuners or contact pcm 4less and see if they can help.

There's no reason to do a ricer rev. The guys are right though, it can be adjusted in the tune. IMO just give it some gas to flash the converter at them.

Well If my Circle D would be delivered by the UPS man I could flash em rather than do a ricer rev haha, I contacted PCM4LESS and hopefully Bryan will get me on the right track. They have by far the best customer service I have dealt with in a long while.. Fingers are crossed.........

Would it have something to do with your IAC on mine if ur sitting still and rev it'll almost die but I had the iac adjusted slightly and doesn't do it anymore and mine is a 5.3 but this prob won't help you for what your wanting to do
Sounds like might be a lil different situation
