Hypertech III question
#1
A friend of mine has a Hypertech 3 handheld he is willing to give me for free if it will work in my truck. Any chance I could be so lucky???
His - 2004 Hummer H2 6.0
Mine - 2000 ECSB 5.3

Ok I was wrong. It is a Hypertech Max Energy and after installing the update to match my truck and motor, it worked just fine.
Of course I will be getting a custom tune eventually, but this was free!
I still have to play with it a little, but I don't know what to set the shift points and rev limiter to. Does anybody have any suggestions? I am looking for more power and not too concerned with MPG. I plan on running 93 octane.

Well I am by no means a mechanic and have never claimed to be, but my truck definitely has a little more *** now.
I don't care if all it does is adjust my flux capacitor, I like the difference it made especially for what it cost me.....absolutely nothing!!!!!!!
This is just temporary anyways until I can get my 6.0 in, which will be tuned by Wheatley.
