Hpt vs whippletronics

Hpt vs whippletronics
I purchased 03 hummer h2 with a whipple sidemount supercharger and whippletronics. Of course torque management is limiting my power and I want to get rid of it. But in doing so, will that override the whippletronics that's currently on there?
eventually I will remove the whippletronics and go full bore hpt. But I'll need the new injectors and will be doing other modifications before going the hpt route.
so removing the torque management is just for now.
any advise on this subject?
thank you in advance

It won't make any significant difference. The tune and injectors are the first things to do. It will run like you think a supercharged H2 should. You can get a tuner to swap PCMs with you so you can get immediate results before you spend all of the time to learn how to tune. Also, most tuners offer discounted retunes as you modify the vehicle.

I have a gauge for that

Torque management is only at the shifts, and it really isnt a terrible thing like the internet makes it sound. There are other controls in place that limit how quickly the throttle opens is what you are feeling. I am not familiar with the whippletornics, but I suspect this is their canned tune. You will want to go to HPT sooner or later.
Atomic Performance is a vendor here and they sell HPTuners at a discount and offer tuning packages also. Retunes are free so if you make changes later its no big deal and he usually has retunes and updates back to you within 24 hours.

They piggyback the stock electronics to decide when to spray their auxiliary injectors. It also has a solenoid that opens the bypass any time something happens in the stock computer, I think it was something about airflow exceeding the expected amount. So in other words, as soon as the power starts coming in, the Whippletronics open the bypass. With an aftermarket tune and injectors, the bypass is simply hooked up to a vacuum source.

Its horrible....I punch it off the line, and it seems to bog down horribly....like I'm dragging an anchor until about 3500 rpm. Then the sc screams and it takes off like a bottle rocket. And it bogs down once it shifts almost like it drops the rpms down too far......I hate it
