HPT Speedo error for calc tire height
#1
I did some looking tonight in my TCC settings again to make it lock a hair sooner in OD and noticed where I have them set is not the actual MPH that the converter locks... So I checked the tire size stuff again.
Noticed where it says existing tire size, it has 'error' in the box and it won't give you the option to enter in the right size and update it. Calculated tire height is 26.6something inches... I've got 29.9" tires (275/60-17) and 3.73 rear gears. I also noticed the revs per mile had two different values from this tune to one of my older files, I have not changed this... I'm thinking this may be the root of my 3rd gear WOT lockup BS too...
Anyone experienced the speedo thing?

I can't find the thread, but it was a similar problem you were having i believe.. it was with HPTuners too and 80e... I believe they fixed it by making sure all the tire size calcs were correct, some how on that thread the users tune got out of sink...

the tune isnt locked, I do my own tuning.
I really wish I could find the answer to this one. I'm throwing rear wheel speed sensor codes now, making the trans do all sorts of weird stuff.
