Default HPT or EFILive guys help!

Is there some setting somewhere that changes how responsive the ETB motor is?? Ive been toying around trying to make my truck a little un-lame. I cant seem to find anything. BUT. I do see something in the Traction Control area. Now, my truck does not have TC but do those tables still come into play on my PCM???

Also, does anybody have some good lean cruise numbers/tables?? I thought about trying that but dont know where to start on setting it up.

ALSO... Can I disable "A/C clutch spark TQ retard limit??" TM is pretty evident with the A/C on and its getting pretty annoying!!

If your truck dosent have ETB, then those tables are not used. Just set the TC torque limiting stuff to max values.

As for lean cruise settings, you need to upgrade to a custom OS and use the B3647 table to do it. The Stock lean crease tables only function on the GTO and Aussie cars.

I don't know about the AC stuff, never messed with it

Duh, I should have read closer Do you have personal or commercial? You need commercial to have access to the ETB tables, but WARNING! If you go to far from stock with the ETB setting, you will turn your PCM into a door stop.

I wonder if the PCM pulls timing while the ac is on so you wont be floring it and downshfting where the ac compressor would have to accelerate a lot?

But the thing is once you go over a certain throttle position it should cut it off?

It does and those settings can be changed. It will shut off by either TPS or RPM.

True. But the compressor should be able to handle the stock HP of the 5.3 without having to pull timing!!

Ya I don't think it pulls timing. I was just commenting that it does shut off at certain RPM's and TPS settings.

Computer does pull timing with the A/C on. Look at table B4369.
