Default Hp tuners ?

I installed the hptuner software on my laptop and now im trying to get it to read my stock tune but nothing is happening when I push read on the hand held hp tuner.Can you guys tell me what im doing wrong? Thanks

you have to install the driver, leave the CD inside the laptop, connect the hptuners to the laptop and to the OBD port, and your laptop should install some drivers. Afterwards open up VCM scanner or EDITOR, if you are trying to get your stock tune file then open up EDITOR then read file and you will get a prompt to save it. that is it save it as STOCK

Then always keep a copy of that stock file.

Thanks guys it didnt ask for drivers so im going to try and.remove the program from my laptop and reinstall hopefully that works.

This part is throwing me off, you hit the read entire calibration command in HP tuners on your laptop, not the interface cable

I recommend also saving a copy to a flash drive just Incase your laptop ever crashes or gets stolen

Ok i got the drivers downloaded but with i push the button begin it says complete until it get down to security access and then it says denied.

sorry im was doing that wrong i was confusing myself too. but now its having a problem with security access.
