how would you know ecm is dead

My truck is completely dead if the ecm is dead how would you now

check battery voltage. check voltage to a power accessory like the cigarette lighter fuse. if you have power to these two then check power to and out of the fuse for the ecm. also check power to the ecm itself with the key on. plug in a scanner to the obd2 port.

I've checked every fuse i haven't found a burnt one yet i check under the hood and in the dash board

Is your battery dead too? The cig lighter doesn't run from the ecm I believe, so you either have a dead battery, bad ground, broken positive wire or loose or bad connections at the battery or somewhere else
