How to run a larger DBW Throttlebody without an x-link

What materials do you need?
1. A 2000-2002 DBW Tac module from a truck that had traction control. While uncommon there were absolutely DBW trucks before 2003. I happened to snag part number 12574221 off of ebay.
Will a tac from a 2002 Cadillac escalade work? The part number is different ( 12571991)
Also is it same to assume that since a fast 102 worked a nick Williams 102 or the new 103 with work?
