Just wondering if im doing this right. Its my fist VVE tuning (using a buddys truck as the guinea pig
) and I have no clue what the VVE map is supposed to look like. Could I get some of the experts to look at the NA VVE map that I have been working on? The first is what I started with (stock) and what I have now is the second

Nope. The pig is stock minus muffler delete, br6ef plugs and 150shot lol.
Engine seemed lazy at part throttle driving, idle was horrible after the install of the plugs, so I was hoping a VVE tune would help.

Ahhh, thing about tuning ve, is that until you change something that changes the efficiency of the engine (cam, boost, etc.), there is no benefit from messing with it. Especially if the fuel trims are already in line.
What are the plugs gapped at?

The plugs are gapped at .028... Weve tried .028, .030, .032. makes no difference. Even my tahoe runs like *** on them at .030 gap

On up to about a 150 shot I always used tr6's and then the br6ef on larger shots and higher compression. A tr6 with about a .035 to .040 gap might run a lil smoother in that lower compression motor.

We used tr6s in my friends old 4.8 on the 100 shot and tr55s on my 60shot lol and they did great. Im tempted to try the tr6s again but then again idk how true this projected plug is a no no in a nitrous engine, thats why we switched to the non projected br6s
