Higher altitudes
#1
I went from a lower altittude around 1000 to a higher around 7000. What do you have to do to tune for higher altitudes? Pull timing, add timing? I had to pull some fuel already cause the exhaust was real rich. Thanks for the help

If you are boosted then you are going to need to add 3~4 psi of boost to burn close to the same fuel as sea level. When I first got to COS (7000' on the north end of town) I was running 6psi my truck up here at 6psi went pig rich(clear off the scale) I ended up having to run 10psi to get the WOT AFR back in line, and had to mess with the PE KPA due to the extra lag, and lower vacuume. You should notice a few HG less vacuume @7000'. Your boost to KPA ratio is going to be off at altitude. At 7000' I have 76KPA ambient vs ~100KPA @ near sealevel.
