Where are you located at 7000'? Yah people don't understand the effect elevation has on performance. My truck ran pretty strong up here at 7000' in COS but when I brought it down to vegas I could do rolling 4x4 burnouts at 40+MPH

How much boost were you running at low elv, and how much do you have now? Another thing you can do is mix in a little E85 with your gas, it will lean you out by %, just be careful. I a 25% E85 mix. In 20 gallons I run 15gal gas, and 5gal E85.
