Default HID headlights for 07

Hey folks i bought a set of sylvania ultra brite lowbeams today. I told the guy at advanced I wanted tru HID headlights for my 07 new body style and this what he sold me.. Well these does even look as brite as my old ones. They say there are 4100k rated..Whatever that means..

Can someone pls show me a link to a set or true HID lowbeams and also do i have to buy a relay or ballast as I have NO idea about electrical systems.. I just a simple plug and go with the brightest set I can possibly get.. Thanks for any help!

Hop on ebay and just search "hid lights H11".. The newer trucks use the the H11 bulbs so just look for those on ebay..

I got the DDM brand and havent had any problems out of the (knock on wood) in over a year now.. Got lows and fogs for $80~ shipped

The 4100k is the light output..I think after 5k the output goes down and its just for color at that point..I have the 6k's in mine and there is a big difference between my truck and the tahoe as far as light output goes..

The 5k are pretty white and the 6k has a blueish look to them.. Hope this helps

No, newer trucks use H11 bulbs for the low beams and 5202 for the fog lights.
