I have an older HTP cable (VCM suite 1.0), when I tried to download HTP to my computer it said I needed .NET framework v2.0. so I googled it and downloaded it, restarted computer and tried to download HTP again and got the same error message. I have tried deleting the framework and doing everything again but I keep getting the same error.

followed the link and followed the link from the link but I guess Im too dumb to figure it out, can someone explain what I need to do to get HTP to download to my computer so I can start messing my truck up.

Try downloading from the link in the customer center at hpt..
I went through the same problems with my current computer..

Also search hpt forum as they have instructions on how to download to any computer/software..
