Default Help finding Throttle Control Actuator / Throttle control Computer

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find one of these computers that work with my LQ9 ECU. What year trucks have compatible ones? Will the harness work with the LQ9 Throttle body? I know 03+ Tahoes have Drive by wire but is that computer the same? If I buy that one will it work with the LQ9 one?

I have a LQ9 Motor and ECU

Theres a computer specificly for the Drive by wire control. I need to know what cars/trucks have one that is compatible with my ECU and Throttle body.

I have a Datsun 240z that the motor is sitting in right now and I'd like to use the drive by wire.

Got ya .... 03 and up trucks. It's in between the brake booster and the drivers side fender, sitting on the firewall.

That looks like the throttlebody from my 01 Tahoe,It is different from an 03.You'll need to match the components the sensor at the peddle, the box on the firewall and the harness to the pins on the ECU.Call John at Speartech,he can match the component and make a harness for you.

Why not get a Camaro or earlier truck throttlebody and run a throttle cable? They are the same sized as your LQ9 throttlebody.

Actually I just found out what part number it was and I think I found a junkyard that will sell it for $25 bucks.

For searching reasons if anyone wants to know.

LQ9

Throttle Actuator Control / TAC Part Number: 12574221

The matching Pedal Part Number: 15177923
