Default heater/a/c control switch wont change from defrost

Any idea what to change beside the mode actuator under the driverside dash? I already swapped it out and it's doing the same thing. What it's doing is when I turn on the car it's blowing out of the defrost onto the window. A few seconds later it'll switch to your feet, and then go right back to the defrost a second later and stay there as long as you are running the truck. After you shut it off and start it up it does it all over again. I was told it HAS to be the mode actuator but I changed that and all that did was change it from being stuck on the defrost to stuck on the face blowing vents and it moves to another vent and switches back just like before. Thanks in advance guys!

disconnect the battery for a minute, hook it back up and try again. If that wont do it you need a tech 2 to scan for codes and or perform an actuator recalibration.,

I did try that previously. I decided to pull it all off and try again and make sure all the pins were in the right spot that the actuator turns. I have no idea if they were off previously, but I put it back together right for sure and turned the key on. It cycled to find out the range and after that everything worked right. Thanks for the advice though!
