Conditions for Clearing the DTC

  • The condition for the DTC is no longer present.
  • The EBCM automatically clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles.

I'm not sure about the different generations of trucks, but on my LML if I hold down the traction control button for 7-10 seconds it turns the system completely off. One press only turns traction control off, but holding it down turns Stabilitrak off completely.

Fun for doing snow/winter drifting

Yeah I do that , but it still doesn't totally disable the stabilitrak .
When wet out , even with my stock tune Denali , I can spin the front enough where i can feel the power bieng pulled and it will flash the warning light .

Interesting. When I shut mine off the light stays on solid. I've gotten my truck completely sideways and spun the tires up to 20-30 mph with no interference.

Yeah my light does stay illuminated , but when wet out and launching from a stop or wot and turning activates it and the light flashes .

I've yet to find a way or read of one to totally disable it . If some one knows please LMK!
