Well you dont have electronic throttle control do you? I just looked through all my bins 99-02 there is no error reporting even set. 03 and up its MIL SET FIRST ERROR.

NO, my truck is a 99.. my throttle is cable controlled.. When i was reading about the code I saw where it said only applies to Electronic throttle control and figured something was up then.. I figured i could just clear the code, but no luck.. guess i need another PCM..

Yea, it sounds like the PCM has DBW logic. Either it's an 03 and up PCM, or possibly a PCM from an SUV (Tahoes, Yukons, etc. are all drive by wire), or from an 02 truck that had traction control. There are a handful of 99-02 traction control equipped pickups out there that have DBW...you just might have been "lucky" enough to pick up one of those PCMs.
