I'm converting my TA to the LS2 style flat response knock sensors that bolt to the side of the block. The shop in san antonio that does my tuning said no problem getting them to work with the 02 pcm.
I'm having to do this because I'm building a Iron LS2 for it using a LY6 6.0 block. I'm building the motor now so it may be a couple months before it's running and can first hand confirm what they say its doable. We'll see

I used a gen3 block in my gen4 build. We drilled and tapped the webbing on each side of the block. Pass side was above the starter if I remember correctly, but anywhere should be fine in that area.
