Supposedly Shell's V-Power has little to no ethanol in it.

ok so i'm starting to think that someone has been stealing my gas (let the truck sit for a week and checked the gauge.) either that or i have a leak. in 5 days i lost three gallons of gas.
in case it isn't a thief, where should i start to look for leaks in my fuel system?

get under it with a match at night. You'll find it.
Are you sure the gauge isn't just lieing to you? Mine does that all the time, the lil heartless bastard

yeah i'm positive. i thought it was playing tricks on me so i tested it. filled it up, let it sit for a week, filled it up again. drove a grand total of fifteen miles and put in almost three gallons of gas.

I kinda doubt anyone is stealing it. If im going to steal gas im not going to only take a gallon or two, im cutting a hole in the bottom of your tank and taking everything.

well that may be true, but i live in a dorm with police driving by every ~ 15 minutes so they probably wouldn't have time to take everything and maintain a low profile. siphoning gas was something that my dad suggested might be happening, and i was hoping that's the case and that i don't have a leak in my fuel system. those two explanations are the only thing i've got so far... i've invested in a locking fuel cap, so we'll see how it does on friday when i go to work.

Well, You can count atomic out of the equation.

I'd check around the filter and then around the injectors.
