ok, so i replaced the sensor that was throwing a code and filled up. now i'm getting about 11mpg. i'm starting to think that it's the ethanol...
it scared me because i thought that something was severely with wrong with my truck.

try 90?

I've never really noticed a difference in mileage between 10%e85 and 100% gas. When I tuned my truck i was running 10% so that might make the difference but I don't know.

I think you would call it E10. E85 is supposed to be 85% alcohol.

well, for now my mileage seems pretty stable. next time i head up towards nashville i'll fill'er up with AVGAS and see if that makes a difference... there doesn't seem to be any stations around the Huntsville/Madison area with 100% petrol. oh well, i guess it's a good thing i don't drive but about 100 miles every two weeks.

hey thanks, i don't think i have any reason to be out that way, but if i'm ever over there i'll check it out.
supposedly liberty food and fuel stations all keep ethanol out of their gas, but i've been unsuccessful in my attempts to find any of them in this area
