Figured out the majority of my problem.

I've been running the 6.0 with a factory ve tune from the mail order base tune. I went ahead and copied the ve from my Futral dyno tune from my 5.3 to my current tune and, WOW! It has a lot more response and power. I guess it still needs to be adjusted b/c my PE modifier is set down to 10.7 and I'm seeing 13.3-4 on the wide band still with detonation. Can I just increase the whole ve table by a couple points or is there another way to increase my fuel delivery?

Increase your PE to obtain proper fueling...NOT VE, VE should remain as close to true as possible so that all other fueling calculations are correct...if fueling is set to 10.7:1 and you're seeing 13.3:1 then the VE table is wrong......
check your A/F at steady state on the highway...it should be 14.7:1, if it's not then VE is definitely wrong.....

Ideally, in a perfect world with a perfect Ve table you set pe quotient to 1.131 and you command 13:1 afr WOT. Now this being the real world that will rarely be the case so we can make up the slack using the VE table or the pe table the choice is yours. If you have proper fueling in the end thats what counts.
BTW:this is assuming your in SD, if your running the maf you can also use it to correct fueling. The only method I dont like for correcting fueling is adjusting the injector flow rate which alot of people still do your injectors are one size at 60psi dont lie to the pcm.

yeah getting the VE dialed in where it should be will really make a big difference and much better throttle response.
Get your Ve dialed in either using fuel trims or using your wideband.Seeing you have a wideband I would do it with that.
You can get you A/F down using Pe and not touching the VE BUT getting your VE and MAF tables down correct would be the best thing to do and then use the PE table to put the A/F where you are wanting it.Everyone has there own ways when they tune but this is what I do.
the stickies will really help you get them down.
Are you using HPTuners or EFILive?

EFI Live. I was just using the PE table to increase fuel but the lowest it allows is 10.5 and I was at 10.7 still running fairly lean. So, in order to give myself some room to play with I needed to turn up my VE table. It seems like it takes some driving around for the computer to recognize and readjust. Immediately after making changes to the ve table I went test it out and was seeing 13.1-2 on the wide band. After driving for about an hour I mashed on it and wide band was reading 12.6. Ater about another two hours I done it again and was seeing 11.9. So now I have room to play. I can raise my PE tables back up to where they should be and make changes to ve also if needed. I'll keep playing with those two tables until I get my wideband afr and my PE table afr the same. (which I believe the purpose?) I wish I would have done this about 6 months ago.... Is 12.9-13.0 a good AFR to shoot for na? I don't know how accurate my wideband is but I rather be running a little rich b/c this set-up doesn't hesitate to ping. I'm ready to get this done with and run some high octane at the track to see what happens....

10.5 isn't lean, it's rich, really rich at that. If you are seeing 10.5 and you add to your ve table it will get richer (lower than 10.5). Don't shoot and miss here, use the write ups for tuning the ve table with a wideband. The ve table will be dead on and you pe will be close enough to tweak from there. Tune the maf as well if you want. But get the ve table in line.
I have never tuned n/a for performance but I'd shoot for 13.0 @ WOT, maybe 12.8 to 12.9ish to be safe.

go to efilives web site and study on how to do their "Auto Tune" the hardest part is just settin the maps, but once you have the maps done its a piece of cake to tune the ve, and it will get it dead on, it will run exsactly what you command
