I certainly could add the AC pressure sensor, but thats $50 worth of sensor and pigtail and running some wires, so I just used a relay I have on hand (free) to do the same thing with a smidge less level of control.

I take it you tapped into the the A/C wire in D3 and then used the ground side of your relay to trigger the high fans?

Thanks for the quick response! I was pretty sure thats all you did, but jumping between different forums and pages got me all messed up. I had to do the OS upgrade on my 2001 suburban, so now I am trying to figure out whether to use a relay for the A/C, the BP automotive AC harness or the PCM of NC sub harness so i can trigger the fans to high.

Below are the configurations I have on my 2001 Suburban and this is what I have been driving almost daily and it has been nothing short of glorious. The biggest issue I ran into was that I was having issues with my original OS which was 12208322 and had to upgrade to OS 12212156. Not sure exactly what was causing the issue, but as soon as I would turn the key forward my fans would come on. Others have upgraded to my old OS and had success, but for some reason it was not working, so it cost me an extra $100 because of the credits. Luckily though with HP Tuners and MPVi2, i was able to get an 12212156 OS, and do the VIN swap and see if it would accept the VIN from my 2001 Suburban, and once I saw that it said my VIN was compatible with the newer OS, I went ahead and saved the file and bought the credits when i went to burn it to my suburban. I also included the idle -> airflow amounts in my tables for both of my trucks to match that of the 05+ trucks with electric fans.
