Well sat. my tb bypass line had a small hole and my coolant ran low and my truck went into safe mode because it got hot. so as soon as it engine light came on I shut it down. about two hours later I came back fixed the hose and poured about 2 1/2 gallons of water. Turned the truck back on the check engine light came off and ran fine. So yesterday I was driving and punched it from 30 and nothing. Check engine light came on got the following coded P1258 and 2135. My manual doesn't have these codes but when I looked it up one is engine coolant related, but it was not hot. So I guess because it's not properly mixed its setting that light so I'm going to flush it out to see it that fixed that code. the other I'm not sure could be tb/ peadal sensor..? Any advice would be appriciated.

 

P1258 is engine metal over temp protection, and P2135 is throttle/pedal position sensor/switch "A" "B" voltage correlation

Your truck may need to be burped for a few days, clear the codes and see if they return, good luck

 

well I flushed out today drove it around got on it a few times everything seemed fine. I guess I'll wait an see it the codes come up again.
