whenever i hit the yellow button lately it automatically pauses, and when i record, nothin shows up. but i can still do bidirectional controls and read/clear dtc's. whats up? am i doing it wrong? it only ever let me read real time once.

 

make sure you have the right PID selection and dashpage/dashboard..

Dude, you really NEED to read the manual. A PID is a Parameter IDentification (TPS, RPM, VSS, stuff like that).

BTW, the yellow button won't show the grafts on dash B, it will only show the readings on the gauges on dash A. You have to be logging (red button) for info to show on dash B. I don't think you can go from monitoring (yellow button) to logging (red button). You have to stop monitoring and then start logging.

 

im talking about on dash a. and i set up my black box to read pid's. so idk. the problem is that it pauses as soon as i tell it to monitor.

 

and i read the manual. and it worked before, but not now.

 

also, im using the standard dashboard just to see if i can get it to work now. i changed it around a little before, but now that it quit on me its back to standard imperial.

 

hahaha. the pid's were no longer loading. thx guys.
