Default EFIlive v1 Personal to Commercial ?

I purchased EFILive V1 recently, and it has been upgraded to commercial V1 before I bought it. Well when I put in the license without hooking up the cable, it will only accept it as a personal scan and tune. Well while the cable is plugged in, I can go to register efilive and change it to commercial scan and tune and it accepts it.

But when I exit efilive, and remove the cable from the laptop, upon restarting the program, it says it is in demo mode and I must register it. Am I missing a step here or something, or am I just going to have to live with it?

register it without the cable hooked up and select commercial scan and tune.

You need to enter the registration info EXACTLY into the software (under the help tap in the tune tool) with the info on the blue card that came with the cable. That will tell the software that it is registered and operate in non-demo mode when the cable is not plugged in. If the reg info is not interned just like it is on the blue card (especial the date), it won't except it.

If you unsure of the reg info, email your SN to EFILive and they will send you the correct reg info to enter into it.

It is exact, but the info on the blue car is for Personal, but the EFIlive has been upgraded to Commercial.
