Question EFI Tuners/Tranny pressure ?

These are my current "Base Pressure 1->2 Shift" parameters. I was thinking of lowering the part throttle settings and scaling the whole thing down a little. The 1-2 shift at part throttle is pretty jerky. What do you guys set yours at?
Tranny 4L65E-Built to perform on stock line pressure. (So I'm told)
Table D0701 in EFI Live. Notice how a stock tune doesnt increase pressure until 140 lb/ft of Tq and my tune is already 162.xxx What do you guys think? Maybe just drop zeros in the first few columns and see if that helps? See post below....stupid excel.

Wish I had a 3600 x 1200 display, I could read your tables then.

Here is mine, smooth at part throttle, but good and firm, maybe too firm at higher throttle position.

1slowhoe...
Do you have a shift kit? If so, have you zero'd out your desired shift times tables?

If you do have a shift kit, and desired shift times are not zero, I'd suggest starting over with the stock pressures, zero out the desired shift times table (let the shift kit do what it is intended to do), and then go from there.

I was chasing my tail with harsh part throttle shifts like you do now until I zeroed that out.

This tranny is like a FLT but by a non sponsor. It should have a shift kit along with all the other built tranny goodies.

Desired shift times are all .02. for all shifts. Is that high/low? Would changing that to 0.0 make a real difference? Thanks

Yes, changing it to 0.0 would make a real difference. By setting it to 0, you are effectively disabling adaptive shift learning. What you define as the shift pressure is what you get. And since the shift kit alters the line pressure mechanically, that is what you want.

Your desired shift times table right now is causing the PCM to alter your line pressures to fall in line with the pre-defined targets, which will cause inconsistent and unexpected shift pressure.

With my table zero'd out and having most of my pressures set to stock (high-torque settings have been reduced some), my light throttle shifts are very smooth while heavy throttle gives the firmness the transmission needs.

Yes, defiantly set your shift time to 0, then adjust your shift pressure until it shifts the way you like it. Mine shift nice and soft just like stock at low to part throttle, then at higher throttle and WOT it will chirp the tires.
