I purchased Efi Live V1.2 from a member on here. He had 2 trucks, tuned them, and sold the trucks. He said he did not upgrade to the V2. Is there any way to check and make sure that I can add vins to the cable??? Reason being, my wife and I are expecting our first child around April 4th. I bought this almost a year ago, have not used it yet and I was going to sell it but i wanted to absolutely sure before i put it up for sale.

might can email someone over at EFILive.com and see what they say....

 

If you have the EFILive software loaded on to your PC, plug the V1 in to a USB port your computer and in the help tab at the top of the screen of the tuneing tool, there is a license info button. Select it and it will tell show you how many license there are uses and unused and also how many slots are available still on that cable. V1's that have not been upgraded to a V2 can have up to 25 license on a cable.

I also bought mine used, can i still add licenses? Here is what it looks like...

 

in that middle screen, mine has 23 empty slots. not blank like yours.

 

I was able to upgrade it from Personal to Commercial a week ago....

 

BlackGMC, yours looks like it's been used to upgrade to a V2, so you won't be able to add any more licenses if that's the case. You where able to upgrade it to a commercial, so you could do full re-flashes on the 2 pcm's that are locked to that cable.

 

Are you serious!!! I am pissed now, the guy I bought in from on here never said anything about him upgrading it!!!
